An Economy of One
I've been thinking recently about the nature of viewing economics. A phrase that keeps running through my mind is "an economy of one".
I know economies are generally viewed as interactions/consumption/production between businesses and countries but I was wondering what it would be like to view economics from the basis of an individual's consumption and their value added to society, not just their paid work but their contributions to society across the board. My concept is akin to microeconomics but more focused on the totality of how an individual lives than just strictly goods and services.
I'm not really sure where this idea is going but it's knocking around my brain.
