Cult of Character
The article Cult of Character in the most recent In These Times (January, 2006) had some very interesting information on a couple of groups closely related to the Christian Reconstructionist movement. I've written some about this philosophy which is also known as Dominionism.
The Character Training Institute (CTI) is apparently the secular version of another group called the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) which is headed by an evangelist named Bill Gothard.
