Frist Equals DeLay
This is so droll and humorous I have to share it. While purusing my current jewel of a book, Word Lover's Dictionary by Josefa Heifetz, I came across the following:
Frist, n.: delay; respite.
How rich! How strange and apropos! Frist=DeLay!
(If I have to explain this to you, I doubt you'll find it funny. Perhaps the comics over on King Features Syndicate will amuse you.)
