One Last Bit on Polls and Votes
I've decided that unless some huge smoking gun shows up, I'm just going to listen to the people who seem to have a more in-depth understanding of these issues.
On the discrepency between the exit polls and actual vote tally, there are two good sites I've found:
Mystery Pollster, Demystifying the Science and Art of Political Polling is a blog with some good information and informed opinion.
Electoral College Meta-Analysis (election.princeton.edu) is hosted by someone who is a college level Prof. on meta-analysis of polls and polling methods.
UPDATE: And for fun there is this view of the election. It's a distorted view of the country showing the relative sizes of the states by the number of electoral votes they control.
